چکیده

Abstract In this study, the SCAPS-1D tool has been used to numerically examine performance of Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDC) based Molybdenum ditelluride (MoTe 2 ) solar cells containing CdS electron transport layer (ETL) and Cu O hole (HTL). Based on photovoltaic cell parameters, including absorber thickness, temperature, defect density, effects series shunt resistance, affinity, structure both MoTe with without usage HTL analyzed. With 1.1 μm thickness doping density 5 × 10 15 cm −3 , Al/FTO/CdS/MoTe /Cu O/Ni heterojunction’s proposed optimized. The final power conversion efficiency (PCE) = 32.38%, open-circuit voltage (V oc 1.07 V, short-circuit current (J sc 35.12 mA/cm fill factor (FF) 86.32% determined from optimized structure. results indicate a suitable path for realization low cost high -based cell.

Investigation of the Effect of Band Offset and Mobility of Organic/Inorganic HTM Layers on the Performance of Perovskite Solar Cells

Abstract: Perovskite solar cells have become an attractive subject in the solar energydevice area. During ten years of development, the energy conversion efficiency has beenimproved from 2.2% to more than 22%, and it still has a very good potential for furtherenhancement. In this paper, a numerical model of the perovskite solar cell with thestructure of glass/ FTO/ TiO2/...

A comprehensive device modelling of perovskite solar cell with inorganic copper iodide as hole transport material

Hole transport material (HTM) plays an important role in the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Spiro-MeOTAD, the commonly used HTM, is costly and can be easily degraded by heat and moisture, thus offering hindrance to commercialize PSCs. There is dire need to find an alternate inorganic and stable HTM to exploit PSCs with their maximum capability. In this paper, a compr...

Graphene quantum dots as the hole transport layer material for high-performance organic solar cells.

We present an investigation of organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells with solution-processable graphene quantum dots (GQDs) as hole transport layers (HTLs). GQDs, with uniform sizes and good conductivity, are demonstrated to be excellent HTLs in both polymer solar cells (PSCs) and small-molecule solar cells (SMSCs) with the blend of poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (...

P3HT:PC61BM based solar cells employing solution processed copper iodide as the hole transport layer

A solution based approach to deposit a p-type CuI hole-transport layer that replaces PEDOT:PSS layer in the fabrication of high-efficiency poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester (P3HT:PCBM) solar cells is reported here. X-ray diffraction analysis identifies the cubic γ-phase of CuI. A Kelvin probe measurement technique is utilized to identify the effective work functi...
